AROMATHERAPY NECKLACE

  I have been asked a lot about aromatherapy jewelry for those who do not have their ears pierced. Well, here is the solution: aromatherapy necklace!

  It took a lot of research to find the proper type of pendant, because I want all my jewelry to be first and foremost be safe to wear. Essential oils are so strong, that I do not want to risk their contact with the skin.
  This pendant is solid in the back, so it will not leak any oil when in touch with clothing or the skin. The front is abundantly cut open for the oil to evaporate through, while still protecting clothes from staining.
  I fixed the pendant to the middle of the chain, so that it always stays in place, keeping the lock in it´s place in the neck as well.

  I welcome this new type of aromatherapy jewelry to my collection with open arms! On days when I want to wear teeny tiny stud earrings (on which it is impossible to add essential oil), I can now boost my being with aromatherapy via my new necklace! Cool!

SPIDERS & PEARLS FOR HALLOWEEN

  Time to start planning for Halloween! I made these cool and gloomy aromatherapy earrings (the only kind I wear anymore!) for starters. They set just the right mood.

Made of jewelry metal, felt, glass beads, and silver plated hooks. Now also available on Nelland Boutique.

  My latest love in essential oils is rosemary. The scent is fresh, similar to eucalyptus, yet woodsy, and suits fall, along with these spider earrings, perfectly. Rosemary gives more energy, revives memory, blood circulation, and hair growth, and eases aches and pains. Suits me!

FUN CARROT EARRINGS FOR SUMMER

  Summer is all about fun! These are my latest maximizers of the adjective:

Just perfect for digging and weeding the garden!  =)  Adding a drop of citronella essential oil will make the insects stay away, so the experience is all the more pleasurable.

BUTTERFLY AROMATHERAPY EARRINGS

  These new earrings get me right into the fun summer mood!
  During the dark and cold winter months I always long for the next summer so badly, that now that it is finally here, I want to embrace it with everything I can.  =)

Pretty metal butterflies with lilac felt in the back, and a tiny white pearl on the wing. Ironically, I will use essential citronella oil with these earrings to repel mosquitoes once they appear.

  These aromatherapy earrings definitely add to my joy of summer!

PERFECT BELTANE EARRINGS

  These cute aromatherapy earrings capture the essence of my Beltane:

Sweet pink roses combined with essential geranium oil.

  I choose essential geranium oil as the scent for Beltane. It is rose-like, but much cheaper than authentic essential rose oil. And to be honest, I´m not sure which has a nicer scent, they´re both mesmerizing.

  I am often asked which essential oil is good in general. I would say they´re all wellness-promoting, so no matter which one you choose, you can´t go wrong. Essential oils do have healing properties, but besides them, you can also go by your nose. Choose the one(s) you like. That´s what I did with geranium oil, and got a bunch of wellbeing as a side effect.  =)

GREEN LEAF- AROMATHERAPY EARRINGS

  Lush green summer is ahead of us, and I have been preparing for it by making a brand new style of earrings.

Green lace leaves with clear glass beads as "dew drops". Totally down to earth and natural, a tree-hugger´s dream.  =) I have enjoyed wearing essential eucalyptus oil on them. It is refreshing and cleansing, and clears up sinuses (which is nice during this pollen season).

Although the earrings are quite big, they don´t pop out too much. As you can see, they go well with a no-makeup look too. Their subtle hue of green makes them blend in with our (humans´) natural coloring. And despite their size they are very lightweight, and thus easy to wear.

  I can´t wait for the real green leaves to arrive!

AROMATHERAPY EARRINGS FOR FIGHTING CANCER

  My goodness... I received an email from a lady the other day, saying she wears her aromatherapy earrings (she got from me) to the hospital every time she gets treatment for breast cancer. She is a fifty-year-old diploma-aromatherapist, so she knows what she´s doing. Bergamot is the essential oil she applies to her beautiful beige bow earrings, because it revitalezes the nerves, reduces stress, and uplifts spirits.

  First I was shocked, then got emotional. But I´m so happy to be able to help her in that frightening stage of life, where she cannot be sure how things will end up. In a situation like that, any possible help is needed and deserved!
  Never did I imagine my "cute little" earrings would go so deep. I was merely thinking of fighting everyday headaches, stress, fatigue, etc. when creating them. But I´m pleased to hear they can do so much more!

  The lady is in my thoughts every day, and I wish her the best. I hope she will recover fully, and can continue enjoying this amazing gift called life!

DIY AROMATHERAPY/DETOX EARRINGS

  I´m so happy for inventing my aromatherapy earrings, that I wish everybody could have the chance to try them. Even for free. Therefore I share with you the making of the beauties.

  To me the most important thing is to spread happiness and good mood to this world, and I wish this diy-tip will do the trick. Now you don´t even need to buy the earrings, you can make them yourself. Either way, I hope you try these!

IMBOLC FASHION: KITTY CAT- HAT

  As the name predicts, this hat it cute. Cute is suitable for Imbolc, because this time of year, to me, is all about being newborn and thus cuteness cannot be avoided! It is the beginning of a whole new year, and daylight has just started to increase after the long dark period. Sky is filled with baby blues and pinks, which the white snow reflects and gives contrast to.
  I recently discovered that the Japanese styles Lolita and cute anime are fit for my Imbolc. As a source of inspiration that is. As much as I adore both styles, I could not walk around in such costumes on a daily basis. Does that make me a wuss?

  Well, in the midst of the cold winter this wuss made herself a cute, but warm, hat to wear on daily basis:

Soft furry fabric to keep my brain head warm. The shape of the hat reminds me of a kitten with it´s still round and short ears. The ears of the hat are rather a subtle hint of ears, instead of an exaggerated feature. There is a fine line between fashion and costumes, and I like to stay on the fashion side. Pushing the boundaries, but with style.

Buttons hold the "ears" in place and give them form.

The back is plain. I wanted to keep it simple to maintain stylishness, and let the fuzzy fur take the focus. This hat is really warm. Recently we had temperatures around -4 Fahrenheit (-20 Centigrade) for two weeks, and I had no trouble outside enjoying the weather with this baby on!
